Howard Edward Morse was a neighborhood kid my mother played with when she was a child . Edward died when he was a 20 year old kid in Vietnam. Today September 11 2008 I saw the name Howard Edward Morse On a traveling replica of the Vietnam War memorial. Being a half size replica it still had to be the length of a football field . I wonder how long the memorial for the Iraqi war will be? I stood at the memorial quiet with my thoughts and silently prayed for everyone on that wall .
The Vietnam Memorial was at Mt.Brighton and following that memorial and stationed at the Brighton Airport was a Vietnam Era Huey helicopter . when I first arrived at the airport I Could hear the Helicopter approaching . It landed generating enormous gusts of wind . When the Engines were turned off I went up to the Pilot and heard him speak about the helicopter and the time his organization spent restoring her....
The Helicopter JUST flew over my home as I'm Typing this

Yes, Matt, It was eerie standing there looking at that wall. I could not help but pray for those that lost their lives for their country. It has been over 40yrs, but I could still feel, if only, a fraction of the pain somehow, that the families and friends of these victims felt.
