Zoltan the Adequate

In 2000 I attended my first Michigan Renaissance Festival . I saw a lot of things there, Sword fighting, Horse Jousting . A lot of People in costumes and I first saw Zoltan the Adequate,Adequate meaning Good Enough. Zoltan is what we'd describe as a geek Magician. Sword Swallowing , Fire Eating, Tricks involving Handcuffs and other props. PLUS the guy was very funny. The show I was at Someone handcuffed him to prove that the cuffs were tight Zoltan runs into the Audience Stops in front of ME and I inspected his Handcuffs. Zoltan put on a great show.

The next day while I was at work I burned my hand and I mentioned this to Zoltan when I emailed him to say what A great time i had at the Ren Fest . He emailed me back to say that most of his audience has problems with fire and he was happy that I enjoyed the show. The Next year was different. I entered the Ren fest and grabbed a Program and Schedule of all the performers glanced it over , NO ZOLTAN. Disappointment set in saw a few shows , Sword Fighting and a guy with a Ventriloquist Dummy cut the day short then went home. Emailed Zoltan Again , www.Justadequate.com , and asked why he wasn't there. Zoltan Emailed me back that he couldn't aree with things with the people putting on the Renaissance fest and skipped Michigan . THEN he asked me how my hand was and if it healed nicely. HE REMEMBERED the email from a year ago, Very Cool. From that time on The Michigan Renaissance fests have gone down hill. in my opinion BUT have recently Improved with All the acts people loved to go see, This included Zoltan.

I enjoyed Zoltans show so much That I've Emailed the guy often over the years , I check Justadequate.com frequently to see whats up with Zoltan . I have Stolen the name Zoltan for my own Online use , Mostly Comments on other websites and message Boards.

I think Zoltan The Adequate can be used Post Renaissance Festival . What Wild West Show, Civil war reenactment or One of those Charles Dickens/ Scrooge Christmas Villages that pop up every Holiday could benefit from an appearance from Zoltan The Adequate . HIZZAH!!!!!!
